The Create a Character Thread!

This is completely random and experimental, but I thought I'd give it a try.

The idea is to come up with just a really short description of a character for yourself or other people to role play. Don't go too far into detail; the idea is to make a character which is intriguing enough for someone to want to play as, but leave the character open for that person to develop.

While it's okay to use random character generators online, i would like to advise that you use your imagination to formulate your own character descriptions, and tailor them for use within the Sailor Moon world. (That means no elves, trolls, dragons, vampire hunters, spaceship captains, etc. Leave it up to the player to decide on such details for crossover RPs or what-have-you.)

Here is a general guideline of what type of information can go into your character.

- gender and age
- a hobby or talent
- up to 2 likes and 2 dislikes
- a goal (could be long term or short term)
- someone important in this character's life
- a conflict/ something trying to prevent the character achieving their goals
- why/ how the character became a Sailor Senshi (if applicable; could instead be a villain or other type of character)

This character is a 16 year old girl who has psychic powers. She likes science class and playing the drums, and strongly dislikes superficial conversation. She wants to start her own record company and frequently receives encouragement from her science teacher who has connections. However, her father wants her to become a doctor like him and believes that pursuing music will mean a waste of her scientific talents and studies. She became a Sailor Senshi when her psychic powers detected a little cat in danger by a youma and when she rescued it the cat gave her a henshin wand.

Let's see how many characters you can come up with! If you choose to use one of these for role play, be sure to credit the original poster of that character and link to this thread somewhere in your character profile.

i used to have a character something like this that i don't use anymore, so someone else can adopt her if they'd like.

- gender and age female, 16
- a hobby or talent dancing
- up to 2 likes and 2 dislikes i only remember that she didn't like the beastie boys. of course she likes dancing, and she likes to sing and to wear fashionable dresses.
- a goal (could be long term or short term) to become a singer and dancer (she's starting to look a little 2-dimensional here... oh well.)
- someone important in this character's life her best friend, who is another singer/ dancer/ sailor senshi
- a conflict/ something trying to prevent the character achieving their goals never worked it out, but let's say she has a gradually worsening medical condition that will eventually prevent her being able to dance
- why/ how the character became a Sailor Senshi (if applicable; could instead be a villain or other type of character) i honestly don't know. maybe her best friend, the other singer/ dancer, came to her and provided her with her henshin wand?

just as a sidenote, between this character and her best friend, they both liked to sing and dance and wanted to start a career together, but the one was the more talented dancer, and her friend was the more talented singer, so they balanced each other out in some ways.

eh, it seems a little weak, but it's something.

- up to 2 likes and 2 dislikes likes sports, likes a wide variety of drinks; dislikes cell phones and cats
- a goal (could be long term or short term) experiment with different types/ flavors of drinks and find or make the best sports drink
- someone important in this character's life her older brother who encourages experimentation and adventure
- a conflict/ something trying to prevent the character achieving their goals her mother is overprotective and doesn't want her to play dangerous sports/ ride skateboard; also discourages experimentation, thinking her goals with sports drinks are too silly and pointless
- why/ how the character became a Sailor Senshi (if applicable; could instead be a villain or other type of character) Her brother was attacked by a villain who wanted to cause discord among families in order to separate them. When this girl came to his defense, her heart glowed and produced her transformation item and she rescued him. He knows her secret as a Sailor Senshi and helps to cover for her when she must fight monsters so their mother doesn't find out.
